Position:
We are seeking a highly professional, motivated, and enthusiastic individual with relevant qualifications to come and join our team as a Full-time Motor Mechanic.
Skills and Experience:
· Maintain, test, and repair motors and mechanical components of trucks, buses, and other heavy vehicles
· Detect and diagnose defects in engines and parts
· Disassemble and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components for inspection
· Repair and replace worn or defective parts, following service manuals as necessary
· Perform scheduled maintenance services like oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with pollution regulations
· Reassembling of engines and parts after repairs
· Test and adjust mechanical parts post-repair to guarantee proper performance
· Utilize computer assistance for diagnosing and testing parts
· May conduct vehicle inspections and issue roadworthiness certificates or recommend necessary work for roadworthiness
· May provide assistance in response to vehicle breakdown incidents.
Qualification
· AQF Certificate III OR
· AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
· At least one year of on-the-job training
Remuneration
Successful candidate will be paid the salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation.
