Christ the King Outside School Hours Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated
Coordinator to lead our service in Deception Bay.
Christ the King OSHC has proudly supported children and families within the Deception Bay community for almost three decades, creating a welcoming, inclusive and nurturing environment where children feel valued, connected and inspired.
Our programs are designed in partnership with children and families, combining intentional learning opportunities with spontaneous play experiences that encourage children's ideas, creativity and development.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Coordinator to provide leadership across all aspects of the service, guiding a dedicated team of Educators while overseeing the day-to-day operations. You will foster a positive team culture, build strong relationships with children, families and the school community, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, child-centred programs that reflect our values and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe and enriching environment.
- Lead a dedicated team of educators, inspiring and supporting them to bring out their best.
- Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to our children's interests and needs.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining a high level of care and safety.
Requirements of the Role:
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to being the Nominated Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of Childcare legislation, including National Quality Framework, Standards, and My Time Our Place.
- Previous childcare service management experience.
- Child Protection training is required for this role.
- Proficient with childcare management software (Xplor preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership skills for team development.
