Black Ops Protection is seeking professional and reliable Security Officers to provide asset protection and location security for film and television productions across Sydney.
We work with production companies and location managers to protect high-value filming equipment, props, and production assets. This role is ideal for guards who are reliable, observant, and comfortable working static shifts in professional production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Protect film production equipment, props, and production assets
- Monitor and control access points to filming locations and unit bases
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft or unauthorised access
- Conduct patrols of filming locations and equipment storage areas
- Monitor vehicles, equipment trucks, and production compounds
- Record incidents and maintain basic security logs
- Liaise with production staff, crew members, and management
- Ensure filming locations remain secure before, during, and after production
Shifts may include day, evening, and overnight static guarding, depending on filming schedules. Weekend shifts may also be required.
Requirements
- Current NSW Security Licence (1A – Static Guarding)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Professional presentation and strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during static or overnight shifts
Preferred (but not essential)
- Previous film set security or asset protection experience
- Experience working with events, productions, or large crews
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
