About the Role
We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and passionate Diploma Qualified Educator to join our Durack Heights team in the Toddler space. In this role, you’ll support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through engaging, play‑based experiences.
You’ll help create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel confident, curious, and supported to grow while building strong relationships with children and families. You’ll work closely with your team to create a calm, structured, and engaging environment, while stepping up as a responsible person when required.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Support engaging, play‑based learning aligned with the EYLF
Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
Create a structured, nurturing environment that supports toddler development
Support and guide newer educators within the room
Assist with observations, documentation, and planning
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and care
About You
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)
Must have completed National Child Safety Training
Minimum 2 years’ experience
Understanding of toddler development and play‑based learning
Confident taking on responsibility within the room
Positive, reliable, and team‑focused approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
