Role Description/Criteria
Aquinas College wishes to employ a suitably experienced and qualified IT Technician to provide efficient and high quality assistance and support to the College’s Information Technology (IT) assets and infrastructure.
This position will be a full time, ongoing opportunity.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager and Director of Technology, the preferred candidate will combine their hands-on technical expertise with proactive problem solving skills to ensure Level 1 & 2 help desk queries are resolved efficiently and our systems remain secure and maintained.
The successful applicant will have:

relevant qualifications and a proven experience in a similar Information Technology position

experience in ITIL Certification and workflows (including Incident, Major Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Knowledge Management)

demonstrated experience in L1–L2 support skills with IT hardware, software, communications and AV systems
-
excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with a variety customers (students, staff, contractors etc)

the ability to work successfully within a team
-
experience working in a school setting would be highly regarded (but not essential)

a current working with children's check and police check (or be prepared to obtain one)

a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children

relevant permissions to work in Australia
The successful applicant will be appointed following a salary assessment according to the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement (CEMEA) 2022.
