Onsite Auto Pty Ltd is looking for a motivated Heavy Vehicle Apprentice Mechanic to join our growing team.
Based in our heavy vehicle workshop, you'll work alongside experienced diesel mechanics while gaining hands-on experience servicing and repairing a wide range of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is eager to build a long-term career in the heavy vehicle industry.
About the Role
As an apprentice, you will assist with:
- Servicing and maintaining heavy vehicles and trailers.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.
- Brake, suspension, steering and driveline repairs.
- Engine and transmission repairs.
- Breakdown repairs and workshop maintenance.
- Learning safe workshop practices and industry standards.
- Keeping the workshop clean and organised.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A genuine interest in heavy vehicles and the automotive industry.
- Current 1st or 2nd Year Heavy Vehicle Apprenticeship (or willingness to commence a 1st Year apprenticeship).
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Good communication skills.
- A current driver's licence (preferred).
