This is an exciting new opportunity to join the People and Culture department at Origin Energy on a part-time basis (3 days per week). You will work with a passionate team that is dedicated to making a positive impact for employees and the community.
As a Global Mobility Consultant, you will provide quality specialist support to the business and partner with key stakeholders to ensure effective management of employee global mobility at Origin. You will provide advice on global mobility, manage global mobility processes, act as the primary point of contact for the business, while collaborating with specialist support teams. Your responsibilities will include:
Provide general mobility support as the subject matter expert to the executive teams, Heads of P&C on immigration, relocation, policy advice or taxation impacts.
Where required, Prepare and manage employment contracts, employee changes, and accurate employee records.
You will have exceptional Global Mobility experience, with a legal understanding of tax and immigration policies in global jurisdictions, policy interpretation, legislation, and government requirements. You will also have formal business, HR, accounting, payroll, or related qualifications, the ability to work with ambiguity, excellent interpersonal skills, ease of communication, and a passion for people and problem-solving.
Extensive knowledge of the current mobility landscape and proven experience in global and national relocation and repatriation assignments. Sound knowledge of international employment and payroll legislation and payroll experience.
