Due to 3 internal moves/promotions across 2 different sites, we are seeking to hire 3 new personnel to the join us, as a Service Person (Workshop) supporting our Maintenance & Haulage Operation teams in the Goldfields.
This role would suit someone with a trade qualification (LV/HD/Boilermaker/HV etc) or a mechanical background (Marine Mechanic etc) or someone with 3+ years as a Service person in a mining/earthworks environment.

2/1 Roster – Perth Point of Hire
1 week Day/1 week Night Shift
$58.00 per hour plus superannuation (on all hours)

Duties & Responsibilities:
Our Service Person will be responsible for supporting the day to day activities of the busy Workshop team of Mechanics/HD Fitters, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers, Tyre Fitters & Apprentices.
Assisting with all daily activities required by the entire workshop team
Greasing trucks, trailers & earthmoving equipment
Refueling Prime Movers & Plant across the sites
Assisting with site deliveries & dispensing stock utilizing a Forklift
General housekeeping around the workshop & site administration offices
Following workplace WHS procedures
Personal experience:
Prior experience in workshop environment
Effective communication skills with a helpful approach
Current Forklift license (with HRWL) essential
Current manual HR License (essential)
To be considered for this role, successful applicants will possess/provide:
2+ years in a similar role in a workshop, mining or construction environment
Safety focused
Great communicator who enjoys working solo and as part of a happy team
Teamwork & respectfulness as a top priority
National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one (less than 12 months old)
