Primary objective
Deliver timely and exceptional service in areas of building security and maintenance, car parking facilities and travel related
support and advice in line with agency policies and procedures. Provide high-level administrative and operational support to
senior management while overseeing daily workflow and junior team members
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide sound advice and deliver a high standard of timely, client-focused services in line with agency policies and
procedures.
2. Coordinate facilities management activities, including maintenance requests, building security, and car parking services.
3. Be the central point of contact for advice on the NTG TRIPS system and provide guidance on travel policies, procedures,
and frameworks. Undertake travel compliance activities, including monitoring acquittals within required timeframes and
generating Travel Compliance Reports.

5. Provide high-level administrative and operational support, including reporting, research, and compliance activities.
6. Develop and maintain office administration systems, records, and procedures to meet audit requirements.
7. Utilise financial systems and Excel to extract data and support reporting on travel, accommodation, and fleet activities.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated experience in the use of office systems, including travel, Cabcharge, accounts payable and receivable,
Excel spreadsheets, databases, and records management in a Government or similar environment.
2. Well-developed knowledge of facilities management, including the assessment and processing of maintenance requests
and agency travel policies, procedures and frameworks.
3. Demonstrated sound communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with
a range of internal and external stakeholders.
4. Sound organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve
timely outcomes in a busy environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
5. Demonstrated knowledge of procurement and accounts processes within a Government or similar environment.
6. Ability to contribute to collaborative decision-making and problem solving, including identifying and escalating complex
issues to the supervisor as required.
Desirable
1. Current NT Drivers licence.
2. Working knowledge of the legislation, bylaws and policy that govern travel related conditions of entitlements with the
NT Government.
