ABOUT US
Fitting out Wheelhouse and Accommodation areas on new vessels and
preparing vessel for launch. Constructing composite superstructures such as wheelhouse, flybridge
on new vessels. Complete maintenance on existing vessels including, refits, windows,
doors, composite repairs etc.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Build and install cabinetry and internal structures
- Building, repairing, and modifying boats and marine vessels
- Installing ceilings and walls to accommodation area
- Installing ceilings to wheelhouse area
- Installing furniture such as eating areas, kitchen, accomodation and wheelhouse areas
- Installing seating
- Install windows and structural fittings
- Set up and execute large composite infusions
- Setup and construct moulds for vessel components
- Carry out gel coating and hand laminating.
- Interpret drawings.
ABOUT YOU:
Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
Certificate III in Marine Craft Construction or Certificate III in Carpentry/Cabinet Making or 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Can work within a team.
- Can work unsupervised.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Meet strict deadlines.
- Sound time management and people skills.
