Hands-On Site Supervisor – Structural Landscaping
$55 per hour + super | Package to be discussed
We are a small, established structural landscaping company looking for an experienced Hands-On Site Supervisor to join our team.
This role is suited to someone who is confident running a site and leading a team, but is also prepared to work alongside the crew and be actively involved in the day-to-day construction work.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising and working alongside our landscaping/construction team
- Reading and interpreting architectural, landscape and construction plans
- Organising daily site activities and delegating tasks to team members
- Coordinating and working with subcontractors
- Ensuring work is completed correctly, efficiently and to a high standard
- Monitoring progress against plans and project requirements
- Communicating with management regarding site progress, materials and issues
- Using basic computer-based systems for plans, photos, job information and site reporting
- Maintaining a safe, organised and productive worksite
What We Are Looking For
The successful applicant must:
- Have solid experience in structural landscaping, construction or a similar trade environment
- Be proficient in reading and interpreting plans
- Have previous experience supervising and delegating a team
- Be confident coordinating and working with subcontractors
- Be computer literate and comfortable using apps, email and digital plans
- Be practical, organised and able to problem-solve on site
- Have strong communication and leadership skills
- Be reliable, professional and take pride in the quality of their work
- Be willing to work hands-on as part of the team
Remuneration
$55 per hour + superannuation
An employment/package arrangement will be discussed depending on experience and suitability.
