Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a high-impact OSS/BSS Transformation program on a 12-month contract in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone passionate about large-scale data migration, data quality, and modern data platforms.
You will play a key role in supporting enterprise transformation initiatives by analysing complex source and target systems, designing robust data migration and validation processes, and ensuring accurate, high-quality data movement into next-generation platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex source and target data sets as part of large-scale OSS/BSS transformation programs
- Design, develop, and validate ETL pipelines to support reliable and scalable data migration
- Write advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation across large volumes of data
- Perform end-to-end data reconciliation across all migration stages and checkpoints
- Identify data discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution of data quality issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment with transformation goals
- Support continuous improvement of data migration frameworks, tools, and best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Data Analyst in large-scale data migration or transformation projects
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex querying, data validation, and performance optimisation
- Hands-on experience with ETL/data preparation tools and frameworks
- Strong working knowledge of Databricks, Python, and/or Apache Spark
- Proven experience in data reconciliation, data quality assessment, and issue resolution
- Ability to analyse large, complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
