Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 6–8 years of professional experience and a strong background in the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI) sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with business objectives.
The role requires strong stakeholder management, project governance, risk management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery across the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution and closure.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
- Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and status updates for relevant stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and proactively develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Facilitate project meetings, steering committee updates, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
- Track project progress against agreed deliverables, milestones, and KPIs.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure clear ownership of project activities and deliverables.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, RAID logs, action items, and project governance artefacts.
- Ensure effective communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support change management and ensure project outcomes align with business and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8 years of experience in Project Management, preferably within a large enterprise environment.
- Mandatory experience in BFSI – Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and delivery frameworks, including Agile and/or Waterfall.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, dependency management, and project governance.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience managing project risks, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in complex enterprise or regulated environments will be highly regarded.
Desirable
- Experience delivering technology or digital transformation projects within BFSI.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery models.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
- Relevant project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master is desirable.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a delivery-focused Project Manager who understands the complexities of the BFSI industry and can effectively manage projects involving business and technology stakeholders. They should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced enterprise environment and have a proven track record of delivering projects successfully.

Pay: $700.00 – $750.00 per day
