Part-Time Permanent Art Consultant – Join Our Established Art Gallery Team
We are seeking a passionate, mature, and reliable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Art Consultant. This is a permanent role with the opportunity to work alongside another experienced Art Consultant while also having the confidence to manage the gallery independently when required. The job requires rostered 3 days 1 week and 5 days the next week working alternatively with the other Sales Consultant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage clients in a warm and professional manner
- Confidently present and sell artwork, offering insights and guidance tailored to each client
- Maintain the gallery's presentation standards
- Use our computer systems for sales processing, artist updates, and stock management
- Collaborate as part of a team, yet work independently with initiative when necessary
About You:
- Mature, honest, and dependable
- Strong sales background is essential, in the arts industry preferable
- Comfortable initiating conversations and building relationships with clients
- Prior experience in a retail or art-focused environment highly regarded
- Imperative - Must have Computer experience, with additional Social Media skills with the ability to learn internal systems quickly, including photoshop, cataloging, adding to website and advertising.
- Available to work regular part-time hours, including some weekends
