The Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Children's Health Queensland, is a Specialist Rehabilitation Medicine Service which operates under a statewide model and includes:

Queensland Cerebral Palsy and Rehabilitation Research Centre
The Queensland Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (QPRS) is based at the QCH and has close links with other hospitals and service providers. The service operates within a state-wide model, with an interdisciplinary structure and an emphasis on child and family-centred care, evidence-based practice and the use of outreach and telehealth technologies to provide high quality tertiary health programs to children with rehabilitation needs. Care is provided through inpatient services, day rehabilitation, outpatient and outreach services.
About the Role
The position of Project Manager -SPARKY: Supporting Mental Health and Adjustment during Recovery after Brain and Spinal Cord Injury in Kids and Youth using a Virtual Clinician Community of Practice will:
Provide high level project management skills to lead this QPRS Project funded by the National Injury Insurance Scheme Qld (NIISQ) to develop a community of practice and create a unique collaborative clinical telementoring platform to support community therapists across in supporting best practice care for emotional wellbeing, including adjustment, mental health and behaviour, in children and youth with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and/or Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) and their families/carers.
Lead and manage the implementation and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the QPRS team, CYMHS and Project ECHO(R)
Build sustainability into the Community of Practice so it continues to meet the needs of clinicians across Queensland.
