We’re on the hunt for a migration lawyer or registered migration agent to grow our team.
We work with visa hopefuls and employer sponsors to transform their visa journey from confusion and stress to easy and breezy! We don't mean to brag, but we have such great clients.
Common visa types we deal with include partner visas (all types) and skilled visas including 189, 190, 482, 186, 494s. We also deal with parent visas, student visas and some other visa types.
The day to day:
- Undertaking initial consultations with clients
- Strategising using client circumstances and migration laws to devise visa plans
- Doing legal research and legal work
- Answering phones and interacting with clients
- Case prep and client management
- Legal submissions drafting when required (eg health waivers, character submissions)
- Manage deadlines (eg visa expiries) and keep clients on track
About You:
- Must have experience in Australian migration, especially skilled visas
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good with computers and tech-savvy
- A positive, friendly, can-do attitude
- Natural problem solver
- A fast learner who shows initiative
- Excellent time management skills, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.
- Must have Australian PR/Citizenship
- Confidence on the phone
We are open to varying levels of experience, though at this time we are recruiting for persons who are qualified to provide immigration advice/assistance. We are a small, tight knit team so a willingness to jump in, help out and be a part of the team is crucial. Pay will be commensurate with level of proven experience.
This position is an in-person role (no WFH). We can offer flexibility in determining your work schedule, including the specific days and hours, as well as the total number of hours per week. However, please note that this is not a casual position; we seek a regular, consistent commitment to ensure smooth operations.
