The Opportunity: Reporting to the Subsurface Manager, purpose of the role is to define the full range of uncertainty pertaining to reservoir static properties to understand reservoir characterisation sufficiently to support correct investment choice in both greenfield and brownfield areas, whilst supporting the maximisation of production outcomes in developing and operating assets.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
In addition, as a Senior Geoscientist you will:
- Lead advanced subsurface interpretation to define reservoir characterisation, uncertainty ranges and key geological assumptions for greenfield and brownfield development.
- Act as custodian of geological and subsurface datasets, ensuring robust data quality, reporting and application across relevant technical platforms.
- Develop and maintain reservoir characterisation tools, models and analytical methods, including permeability modelling, geostatistical analysis, resource modelling and uncertainty assessment.
- Integrate geological, reservoir and production data with multidisciplinary stakeholders to inform development concepts, production forecasts and reservoir management.
- Represent the Subsurface function as a senior technical specialist, providing peer review, technical assurance and clear communication of complex subsurface matters to internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.

About You:
- Qualification: University degree or First degree or Other Professional Qualification.
- Demonstrated track record of innovation and integration in subsurface data analysis.
- Skilled usage of industry standard Geological software e.g. Petrel.
- Awareness in petroleum engineering knowledge, field development planning, well performance optimisations, reservoir management, well completions and interventions, well testing and nodal analysis.
- Skilled in data analysis and reporting with a particular focus on multi variant analysis.
- Knowledge of other discipline tasks such as Operations, Drilling, Reservoir engineering, Petrophysics, and Geophysics.
