Operations Assistant
We are seeking a motivated and organised Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the business, supporting day-to-day operations and helping ensure everything runs efficiently.
The successful applicant will assist with a range of administrative and operational tasks, coordinate with internal teams, maintain accurate records, and provide general support to management. No two days are the same, making this an ideal position for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the operations team.
- Coordinate daily operational activities and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Liaise professionally with customers, suppliers, and staff.
- Assist with reporting, data entry, and general office duties.
- Support management with operational planning and day-to-day business activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
About You
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous administration or operations experience is desirable but not essential.
Additional Advantages
The following would be considered an advantage, but are not essential:
- Current Dogging and/or Rigging High Risk Work Licence.
- Willingness to assist with on-site crane and rigging operations when required.
- Experience in the crane, transport, construction or heavy industry sectors.
- The opportunity to work on EBA projects, with EBA rates available for the right applicant.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $85,000.00 per year
