Your Role: The Manager, Child and Family Services is responsible for the operational leadership, development, implementation and evaluation of Child and Family Services within their allocated portfolio.
The role provides accountable oversight of service delivery, quality, workforce and continuous improvement across Permanency Support Program (PSP) and related Child and Family Services streams. Working in partnership with the Executive Leader – Child and Family Services, the position supports service sustainability, compliance with statutory and contractual obligations, and the delivery of safe, high-quality outcomes for children, young people and families.
The Manager retains overall accountability for service delivery and practice governance, with day-to day operational oversight delegated to Team Leaders and other relevant staff.
What you need to be successful in your role:
- Demonstrated commitment to the safety, wellbeing and rights of children, young people and people with disability.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and substantial professional experience (minimum 5 years) in child and family services or a related human services field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex service delivery programs.
- Strong knowledge of practice governance, risk management and quality frameworks.
- Experience in program design, implementation and evaluation.
- High-level people leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
