This role will see you responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and managing key accounts across Australia.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will play a key role in expanding market presence, growing revenue, and strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
This is a highly autonomous position that will involve regular interstate travel (up to 50%), customer visits, industry networking, and the management of both existing and prospective accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with customers.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining existing accounts.
- Manage the full sales process from lead generation through to order placement.
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial agreements.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasting and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements, specifications, and delivery expectations are met.
- Conduct customer presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Contribute to product and market development initiatives through customer feedback and industry insights.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience in business development, sales, account management, or customer-facing commercial roles.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proven ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sales.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and customer relationships.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel nationally as required.
Highly Regarded
- Technical or capital equipment sales experience.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Heavy Vehicle Licence.
