Everton Park State School P&C is looking for an Operations Manager to lead and grow the services that support more than 700 local students and their families.
This is not a typical administration role.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and future development of the P&C's community services, including the tuckshop, uniform shop, volunteers, events and operational systems.
You'll work closely with parents, volunteers, school leadership and the P&C Executive to improve services, strengthen community connections and ensure our operations are sustainable, efficient and financially successful.
This role would suit someone who enjoys collaboration, improving systems, leading people and making a visible difference in their community.
What you'll be responsible for
Leading Operations
- Oversee the daily operation of the school tuckshop and uniform shop
- Ensure services are delivered efficiently and professionally
- Manage suppliers, ordering, stock control and service standards
- Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growth
Building Strong Systems
- Improve processes and workflows across P&C operations
- Maintain records, reporting and compliance requirements
- Support budgeting, purchasing and financial administration activities
- Use data and feedback to improve customer experience and service delivery
Supporting People
- Coordinate and support volunteers
- Build positive relationships with parents, staff and suppliers
- Help create a welcoming and inclusive community environment
- Support events, fundraising activities and community initiatives
Driving Improvement
- Identify opportunities to increase participation and engagement
- Help grow services to better meet the needs of families
- Work with the P&C Executive to deliver operational priorities and projects
About You
You'll likely bring experience in one or more of the following:
- Operations management
- Administration and business support
- Retail or hospitality management
- Community organisations or not-for-profits
- Customer service leadership
- Small business management
Most importantly, you'll be organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership.
You'll enjoy solving problems, improving systems and working with people.
