We are currently seeking an experienced Fresh Produce Assistant to join our busy supermarket team in Balgowlah Heights.
We are offering two positions:
- Full-time position
- Casual position (20-30 hours per week)
About you:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to their work
- Neat, tidy, and well-presented
- A strong communicator and team player
- Knowledgeable about fruit and vegetables (previous fresh produce or retail experience is an advantage)
Key responsibilities include:
- Restocking shelves, display bins, and baskets in the produce department
- Merchandising and maintaining an attractive, well-presented produce area
- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Cutting, preparing, and repackaging fruit and vegetables
- Updating prices and printing shelf tickets
- Assisting with ordering for the produce department (once trained and competent)
