Deliver clinical teaching and research in pathology while shaping future health professionals.
The Opportunity
You will contribute to teaching, research and administration within the School of Medicine, with a focus on pathology education at the Liverpool Clinical School. This includes delivering high-quality teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, supporting student learning, and developing curriculum that aligns with contemporary clinical practice.
You will design and deliver learning activities using varied pedagogical approaches, integrating educational technologies and fostering inclusive and engaging learning environments. You will also take responsibility for course coordination and academic quality assurance, supporting student progression and achievement.
In research, you will undertake independent and collaborative scholarly activity, contributing to publications, grant applications and the advancement of disciplinary knowledge. You will supervise higher degree research students and mentor emerging academics, while engaging with industry and professional partners to strengthen research and teaching outcomes.

About You

Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) or equivalent.

Current medical practitioner, registered or eligible for specialist pathologist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Specialist training with consultant-level clinical experience.

Demonstrated teaching experience and curriculum development capability.

Proven research track record with high-quality outcomes and leadership potential.
