We are currently seeking new DJ Instructors for contract positions in Melbourne and Sydney. As a DJ instructor, you will be responsible for teaching basic to advanced DJ skills, techniques and music theory to students of all skill levels. You will participate in curriculum development, classroom instruction, online as well as private one-on-one tuitions, and provide feedback to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a professional DJ for a minimum of 5 Years
- Experience teaching DJ skills and techniques to students of all levels
- Great passion for teaching and sharing knowledge
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team
- Proficiency in DJ software such as Serato and Rekordbox
- Knowledge of music production software such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and FL Studio
- Cert IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Production, Audio Engineering or a related field
- Experience working with various DJ equipment such as CDJs, controllers and turntables
- Experience with Live Stream DJing (eg. OBS, Zoom) for online lessons
- Flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends
