Practice Manager — Boutique Dental Surgery (Inner West Sydney)
A well-established, patient-focused two-chair dental practice in Marrickville is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations and help drive the next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants genuine ownership over how the practice runs — not just admin, but the strategic and operational engine behind it.
About the role
You'll manage the full operational rhythm of the practice: scheduling, compliance, team coordination, patient experience, and financial performance, while also playing a key role in growth initiatives — from patient acquisition and retention strategy to systems and process improvement as the practice expands its services.
What you'll be doing
- Overseeing daily operations across a small, close-knit clinical team
- Driving patient acquisition, retention, and overall patient care standards
- Supporting practice growth strategy, including new service lines and potential expansion
- Managing rostering, supplier relationships, budgets, and compliance (AHPRA, WHS, privacy)
- Building and refining systems, SOPs, and team workflows
- Acting as the key point of contact for patients, team, and external partners
What we're looking for
- 7+ years' experience in practice management (dental highly regarded, medical/allied health considered)
- Full working rights in Australia — essential
- Demonstrated experience in business growth, acquisitions, or scaling a small healthcare business
- Strong patient care management background — you understand what drives patient trust and retention
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Comfortable working closely with the practice owner in a small, high-trust team environment
What's on offer
- $75 000-$100000 per annum, depending on experience
