Prepare and produce high-quality food in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines

Support the culinary team across restaurant, bar, in-room dining, breakfast service, and banquet operations

Assist in delivering a diverse range of dining experiences, from buffet breakfasts and à la carte dining to conference and event catering

Work collaboratively with Front of House colleagues to create memorable guest experiences, including guest interaction during service when required

Maintain exceptional food presentation, consistency, and quality standards at all times
-
Receive and check deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly and invoices are accurately recorded

Champion the identification and reporting of workplace hazards and support the implementation of risk control measures

Maintain accurate HACCP records and ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures

Demonstrate a strong understanding of Crisis Management, HACCP, and Workplace Health & Safety requirements

Support the wider Culinary team to achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction and operational excellence

Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment

Complete ad-hoc duties as required to support the smooth operation of the hotel

A passion for culinary arts and a desire to develop your skills within a luxury hotel environment

6-12 months' experience in a commercial kitchen or similar food preparation environment
-
Qualifications in Commercial Cookery, Culinary Arts, or a related discipline from a recognised training provider
-
A strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards

Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a collaborative approach to work

Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and effective time management abilities
-
Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
-
A guest-focused mindset and willingness to support colleagues and guests whenever required
-
A professional appearance and commitment to maintaining personal grooming and hygiene standards
-
Experience working in a multi-outlet hospitality operation or luxury hotel environment is advantageous but not essential
-
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and public holidays
