Develop in Sales
Back off solid yearly results and growth of over 4% in our parcels business, we have a once in a lifetime opportunity for an Account Management professional in Perth to join our elite division of account managers to support local business and help us win in eCommerce.
In this role you are going to help our eCommerce clients around an area of Perth thrive as their businesses grow. In this role, working from our Welshpool office and on the road meeting our customers, you will be a key trusted advisor to businesses as they use Australia Post as their parcel delivery provider.
With B2B, B2C and international freight solutions at your fingertips and the largest reach of any network in Australia, you are a key enabler for leading Australian eCommerce businesses to get their products to customers!
You will attend 10 site visits a week and manage a portfolio of 35 customers. We love our hybrid work policy so you can work at home twice a week, our team is usually in the office or on site Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

This is a really exciting portfolio looking after the South West patch in Perth from Freo down to Rockingham.
What you’ll deliver with us
Through delighting our eCommerce customers with excellent account management, and new business development you will help Australia Post achieve our ambitious growth targets.
You will
- Manage existing accounts to increase share of wallet and opportunities to sell additional freight services.
- Present and conduct joint business reviews with c-suite leaders of eCommerce businesses.
- Analyse the accounts in the portfolio to identify risks and opportunities for growth.
- Call and meet with customers online / over the phone and develop long term, trusted relationships.
- Develop new business across this portfolio, riding the incredible momentum we’ve seen in new business activity across this sector to exceed targets.
About you
You’ll have sales or customer centric experience and a credibility with customers face to face, you’ll have a curious and winning mindset and the ability to build deep and lasting relationships with your clients.
You’ll thrive on challenges and have a positive growth mindset that has demonstrated itself in succeeding in prior roles.
