High School English / HASS Teacher (Classroom & Distance Education)

Position Overview
- Location: Onsite (with integrated Distance Education delivery)
- Hours: 2 – 3 days per week (8:30 am – 4:30 pm) during school terms
- Target Classes: Years 7–10 English and HASS (Humanities and Social Sciences)
- Accountability: Reports directly to the school Principal or delegate
Role Purpose
As a teacher at Angelorum College, your role is fundamentally a vocation of service and spiritual leadership. You will infuse the Catholic faith into all aspects of the curriculum, helping students view history, literature, and culture through the lens of salvation history and Christian anthropology. Simultaneously, you will maintain the highest professional standards in alignment with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) and the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (APST).
Position Requirements & Qualifications (Essential)
- A practising Catholic who lives out the precepts of the Catholic Church with a visible, active commitment to parish life.
- A commitment to modelling Christian virtues and the moral teachings of the Church to students, families, and the wider community.
- Australian tertiary qualifications in Teaching/Education
- Graduate qualifications in Classical Liberal Arts
- Current registration, or immediate eligibility for registration, with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT).
- Full Australian residency. (please note: we are unable to sponsor non-residents)
Desirable Criteria
- Highly motivated to engage with teaching English and HASS through a Catholic lens in a classroom and/or Distance Education setting.
- Familiarity with online learning management systems, exceptional communication skills, an engaging teaching personality, and strong organisational habits.

Pay: $73,312.88 – $125,343.41 per year
