About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you will analyse and modify new and existing engineering technologies and apply them in the testing and implementation of engineering projects across Tetratherix innovative medical device portfolio. You will work at the intersection of R&D and manufacturing, supporting the translation of novel biomaterials technology from bench to production in compliance with ISO 13485.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse, evaluate, and modify new and existing engineering technologies for application in medical device development and manufacturing projects.
- Plan, execute, and document engineering tests and trials to validate technology performance against defined specifications.
- Support the implementation of engineering solutions across product development and manufacturing scale-up activities.
- Identify technical challenges and develop practical, evidence-based solutions in collaboration with R&D; and production teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including test protocols, engineering reports, SOPs, and batch records in accordance with ISO 13485 requirements.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams — including research, manufacturing, and quality — to ensure seamless integration of engineering technologies into operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or related discipline).
- 2+ years experience in a relevant engineering or technical role, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and adapt engineering technologies for practical application in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Experience with engineering testing methodologies, technical documentation, and process improvement.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other relevant regulatory quality management frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
