Due to continued business growth and increasing customer demand, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef to join our professional kitchen team on a full-time permanent basis.

Job Duties
- Responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality, creative dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
- Maintaining excellent standard of food presentation and portion control
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and optimise kitchen operation
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Restaurant Managers to monitor feedback on popularity of all dishes
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assisting with inventory management and stock control
- Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive team culture
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment ensuring compliance with all food safety legislation and food handling policies and procedures
- Managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
Skills and Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, or a higher relevant qualification.
- Demonstrated practical experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining professional workplace standards.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and rotating roster shifts as required.
