About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel / Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospitality venue. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accommodation operations, food and beverage services, housekeeping, staff supervision, customer service, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the hotel, bar, bistro, and accommodation facilities.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and lead staff across housekeeping, bar, kitchen, and front-of-house teams.
- Prepare and manage staff rosters and labour costs.
- Oversee accommodation bookings, guest services, and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food safety, workplace health and safety, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage stock ordering, supplier relationships, and inventory control.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and operational costs.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaint resolution.
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, revenue, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and service across all areas of the venue.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualification of 3+ years in business, hospitality, management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated management or supervisory experience in hospitality, accommodation, retail, customer service, or business operations.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with rostering, budgeting, stock control, and operational management.
- Ability to work independently and lead a diverse team in a regional hospitality environment.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts as required
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or ability to obtain.
