Flexible Community-Based OT Work | NDIS & Aged Care
The Care Team Network is seeking Occupational Therapists to join our growing allied health network as subcontractors.
We support clients across NDIS, aged care and private services, with a focus on practical, client-centred care, high-quality reporting, and supportive collaboration between practitioners and admin.
This role would suit an OT who enjoys working independently but still wants access to referrals, templates, admin support, supervision options and a responsive team.
About the role
You will provide community-based occupational therapy services, which may include:
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- Assistive Technology assessments and recommendations
- Home modification assessments
- Equipment trials
- Aged care assessments
- Ongoing therapy/intervention sessions
- Progress reports and recommendation letters
- Stakeholder communication with families, support coordinators, providers and other professionals
You can choose referrals based on your availability, location, experience and clinical scope.
Why join The Care Team Network?
- Fortnightly pay — invoices paid within 14 days of submission, regardless of participant or provider payment delays
- No forced minimum caseload or KPIs — take on as much or as little work as suits your availability
- Flexible working hours — choose your own schedule and preferred service areas
- Competitive contractor rates — $90–$120 per hour, based on experience and clinical scope
- Paid travel where claimable — eligible travel time and kilometres are paid directly to the practitioner
- CPR and First Aid renewal support — annual CPR and three-yearly First Aid renewal covered for active practitioners
- OT supervision support available for early-career occupational therapists
- Ready-to-use templates for FCA reports, AT requests, home modification letters, progress notes and aged care recommendations
- Fast admin response times — responsive admin and clinical support when you need help with referrals, funding questions or report pathways
- Run by people who understand allied health, aged care and NDIS practice
