The Authority is seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer to undertake a range of research, analysis, reporting and administrative activities to ensure our Adaptation and Resilience projects are executed efficiently and contribute positively to the recovery and development of NSW communities.
Provide a range of project management and support services, including meeting coordination and the preparation of discussion papers, briefs and submissions, to contribute to the development and delivery of policy initiatives.
The role requires strong administrative, project, and executive support experience. You will need proven skills in managing day-to-day operations including purchasing, vendor management, travel bookings, and financial/people support alongside managing small project tasks, conducting basic research, and tracking risks.
High-level executive coordination is essential. This includes managing senior leadership diaries and meeting governance, from agenda preparation to minute-taking. Excellent written communication and customer service skills are vital to handle stakeholder inquiries, draft high-quality reports, and balance competing priorities effectively.
Advanced skills and experience in word processing, correspondence tracking, databases, electronic document management systems and financial budgeting systems, spreadsheets, presentation and electronic communication applications including MS Office software.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
