We're thrilled to announce the opening for Marketing Director, ANZ based in Sydney, reporting to the Managing Director, ANZ. As the Marketing Director for the ANZ cluster, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing Moët Hennessy brands’ development across Australia and New Zealand. As a member of the ANZ ExCo, you will help shape market priorities, respond to each market’s opportunities and challenges, and lead the marketing agenda to deliver our North Star, accelerate sustainable growth, and contribute to the continued transformation of the business.
How you will contribute…
Set strategic marketing direction for ANZ markets
- Drive mid- to long-term strategic marketing planning for ANZ in line with Moët Hennessy’s brand ambition, business priorities, and North Star
- Develop and deliver ANZ brand programs and campaigns that create scale and amplify impact, in close partnership with Maisons, the ANZ commercial teams, and consumer engagement partners
- Strengthen consumer centricity in the company, identify insights from all sources and leverage them through the plans and drive change in response to evolving buying patterns
- Translate Maison plans and guidelines into ANZ marketing and business plans that increase impact and strengthen relevance for our consumers and customers
- Build collaborative ways of working across the ANZ cluster, operating effectively within a matrix environment
- Represent the ANZ cluster and provide feedback and input to Maisons and Moët Hennessy on key issues and initiatives
- As part of Exco, act as a strategic thought partner to the Managing Director and other Exco members, helping shape business decisions in line with consumer and market perspectives, and contributing to the design and delivery of transformation roadmaps and priorities beyond own functional area of responsibility
Lead development and execution of brand strategy and operational marketing excellence
- Lead ANZ in developing its marketing and brand strategies and programs, with a strong understanding of customer and consumer dynamics across Australia and New Zealand
- Develop and continuously refine annual brand plans, ensuring alignment with the Managing Director, ANZ ExCo, Maison priorities, and delivery of the ANZ North Star
- Implement programs and plans on time, on plan and on budget
- Manage agencies to deliver on brand and marketing campaigns
- Develop and track clear KPIs aligned to brand, commercial and consumer objectives
- Maximize digital consumer engagement across ANZ
Develop business performance with Commercial and Finance teams
- Work with Commercial and Finance teams to identify business opportunities and build strategic growth plans across Australia and New Zealand
- Oversee the ANZ customer marketing agenda and team, ensuring customer plans are strategically aligned to brand priorities, commercial objectives, and execution excellence across key channels and customers
- Work with the Commercial team in understanding business challenges, shifting consumption trends, evolving market dynamics to adapt plans accordingly
- Achieve agreed level of brand contribution and brand performance through active monitoring and control of pricing, trade offers and A&P spends
- Budget/LE submissions together with finance team, ensuring timely and accurate submission of necessary data
Build capability in the ANZ marketing organization
- Role-model LVMH leadership values and cultivate a culture of high performance, creativity, and collaboration
- Attract, retain, and nurture top marketing talents with a strong focus on succession planning and internal mobility
- Guide and develop the ANZ marketing teams through regular reviews, coaching, and feedback on performance against marketing strategies, business objectives, and leadership expectations
- Review the ANZ marketing organisation alongside the Managing Director, HR, and relevant business leaders to continuously optimise structure, capability, and career pathways for talent
