Strategic People Business Partner

The Role:
The Role:
- Reporting to the People Manager, People Business Partnering, you’ll provide practical People advice and coaching to General Managers and Heads of Function.
- You will work closely with leaders to address workforce challenges, generate data driven solutions, and support the employee experience with implementation of people initiatives that align with business needs.
- You will use your knowledge, experience, sound judgement and understanding of the operating environment to advise, coach and make recommendations across a broad range of people matters.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build trusted working relationships with leaders providing practical advice and thoughtful challenge
- Coach leaders to proactively identify workforce needs in a timely, fair and consistent way
- Workforce planning activities including supporting leaders identify current and future people needs
- Co‑design strategies that strengthen capability, engagement, retention and ultimately client outcomes
- Lead transformation initiatives including consultation, role and organisational design
- Contribute meaningfully to People Function strategy, projects and continuous improvement agenda
- Collaborate closely with People Shared Service teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end people solutions
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in HR or a related field (preferred) and solid experience supporting leaders across a range of people matters
- Strong operational knowledge of employment legislation, Enterprise Agreement, Modern Awards and contemporary HR practices
- Proven ability to influence, coach and build trusted relationships with senior leaders
- Experience in advising leaders on workforce planning, talent management, and change management
- Strong critical thinking, data-driven insights and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with unionised workforces will be highly regarded
