Gardening Contractors provide person-centred support to clients living at home across both the NDIS and the Aged Care (Support at Home) programs.
· Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic gardening duties
- Perform yard work including raking, mowing, trimming, planting and mulching
- Operate machinery including power tools and ride on mowers (if any)
- Follow safe work practices and identify any hazards
· Employment type: Contract – shifts offered based on client needs.
· Support, supervision and escalation available from the coordination team.
Mandatory Requirements
· Certification or experience (no less than 3 years)
· NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS Check) – current or willing to obtain on joining
· Current seasonal influenza vaccination for Aged Care work (and other vaccinations as per policy and client requirements)- if holding
· Unrestricted Australian work rights.
· Own reliable vehicle, current driver licence, and smartphone for app‑based rostering and documentation.
