The Local Doctor & The Skin Doctor - Ivanhoe is looking for a well-presented, passionate and caring Cosmetic Nurse to join our friendly and professional team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated nurse to work in a well-established general practice while delivering high-quality aesthetic & IV infusion treatments in a safe, ethical, and patient-centred environment.
About the Role
You will provide cosmetic consultations and IV infusion treatments while building long-term relationships with patients. Working alongside experienced medical practitioners, you will deliver exceptional care and contribute to the growth of our cosmetic services.
· Perform cosmetic consultations and develop personalised treatment plans in consultation with the Medical Practitioner.
· Assist and support with marking up cosmetic injectable treatments for the Medical Practitioner.
· Educate patients on treatment options, aftercare, and expected outcomes.
· Maintain accurate clinical documentation and informed consent.
· Ensure compliance with infection control standards and clinic protocols.
· Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care.
· Assist in promoting cosmetic services within regulatory guidelines.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
· Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
· IV cannulation, preferred, but training can be offered to the preferred candidate.
· Excellent presentation, communication and consultation skills.
· A professional, caring, and ethical approach.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
· The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
