About the role
An experienced Office Manager within a wholesale manufacturing environment, combining strong administrative leadership with legal and HR expertise. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day office operations, managing HR functions, and negotiating and administering vendor and supplier contracts. Ensures compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, supports the resolution of employee and labour relations matters, and maintains compliance with applicable employment, manufacturing, and regulatory legislation. Acts as a key point of contact between management, employees, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and a legally compliant workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily factory office operations and front desk staff.
- Oversee supply orders, inventory, and office equipment maintenance.
- Coordinate internal communication between factory floor and corporate teams.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems securely.
- Oversee general office workflows and daily activities.
- Manage filing systems, databases, and records.
- Handle incoming mail, calls, and general correspondence.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Order office supplies and equipment while tracking inventory.
- Ensure adherence to local occupational health and safety regulations.
About you
- Review basic vendor contracts, leases, and service agreements.
- Handle initial worker documentation, onboarding, and compliance records.
- Assist management with labor relations and standard workplace policies.
- Process payroll and track employee attendance records.
- Handle basic accounts payable and receivable tasks.
- Experience in Xero is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience with Apple Mac software is required.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration and insurance claims.
- Assist with hiring processes and disciplinary documentation.
- Plan company events, meetings, and team-building activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external queries.
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues or staff conflicts.
Pay: $83,200.00 – $90,000.00 per year
