About the Role:
In this role, you will support the daily operations of the school canteen, ensuring students receive fresh, healthy food in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and serving food in line with canteen standards
- Processing student orders, including online systems
- Operating point-of-sale systems
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene
- Assisting with stock, setup, and pack-down
- Supporting school events and catering as required
About You:
You are a team player with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a busy environment.
You will bring:
- Experience in food service or hospitality (desirable, not essential)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- A current Positive Blue Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, reliable approach and willingness to learn
