Production Supervisor

FULL-TIME

EMERALD, QLD

POSITION DESCRIPTION

MCC Group is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate production teams across our Central Queensland mining operations. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient extraction and haulage of material while maintaining compliance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.

POSITION DUTIES

Supervise and coordinate production crews across day and night shifts

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with site safety management plans

Monitor and report on production KPIs including tonnage, strip ratios, and equipment utilisation

Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and shift handovers

Manage crew rosters, leave requests, and personnel issues on-site

Liaise with client representatives and project managers on operational priorities

Identify and report hazards, incidents, and near-misses in line with company policy

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in open-cut mining

Current QLD Standard 11 (or equivalent) Generic Mining Induction

Supervisor competency certificate (S1/S2/S3)

Strong understanding of mining legislation and WHS obligations

Proven leadership and crew management skills

Current manual driver's licence

First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
