As an Operational Risk Consultant, youll partner closely with our Retail Insurance Teams across Customer Experience, Marketing and Strategic Enablement to bring risk frameworks to life. Youll help connect the dots across complex areas, guiding better decisions and building confidence in how we manage risk day to day. This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane). What You'll Do Partner with our Retail Insurance Teams to embed operational risk frameworks and support strong, consistent risk practices across interconnected functions Prepare clear, insightful reporting and contribute to risk forums, helping stakeholders understand key themes and make informed decisions Conduct control testing, assurance activities and process reviews to identify gaps and improve how risks are managed Work with stakeholders to investigate risk events, identify root causes and support practical, sustainable remediation actions Manage and maintain risk data in systems such as ServiceNow, ensuring accuracy and supporting better visibility of risk positions Use dashboards and data insights to guide conversations, highlight trends and support continuous improvement in risk maturity What You'll Bring Experience or exposure to risk, compliance or assurance in financial services or similar environments. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence to have clear and constructive conversations' Ability to think across the enterprise and understand how different teams and activities connect Curiosity and analytical thinking to identify issues, explore root causes and suggest practical solutions Confidence working with systems and tools, and a willingness to learn new platforms quickly A collaborative mindset, with a focus on building capability and lifting risk maturity across teams What We Offer Boosted superannuation with 13% as standard. 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for whats important to you).
