Dental Assistant / Receptionist (Cert III) – Part-Time or Casual

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant / Receptionist with a Certificate III in Dental Assisting to join our growing team on a part-time or casual basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working both chairside and at reception.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Chairside assistance for a range of dental procedures
- Preparing and sterilising instruments in accordance with infection control standards
- Setting up and packing down treatment rooms
- Greeting patients and creating a welcoming experience
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Processing payments and health fund claims
- Managing patient records using dental practice software
- General reception and administrative duties
- Assisting the dentists and team to ensure the smooth running of the practice
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, caring and professional manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual and a team player
- Comfortable using computers and willing to learn practice management software
