As a 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience working on large commercial and industrial sites, learning everything from cable installations and lighting systems to switchboards, conduit work and power systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice looking to continue building their skills on large-scale commercial and industrial projects across NSW.
Work alongside experienced electricians while gaining exposure to a wide range of electrical installations including lighting, switchboards, cable systems, generators and power distribution systems.
As part of your apprenticeship, you’ll continue working toward your nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician while developing valuable hands-on industry experience on active construction sites.
- Some of Your Duties Will Include:
- Running conduit and cable tray systems.
- Pulling and terminating cables.
- Installing lighting, exit and emergency systems.
- Assisting with switchboard installations and metering alterations.
- Supporting rough ins and commercial fit outs.
- Installing temporary power and standby generators.
- Working on LV, MV & HV electrical systems.
- Maintenance and servicing work.
- General labouring, clean-up and supporting tradespeople on site.
- Following WHS procedures and participating in site safety initiatives.
How to Get Started:
- Current 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice.
- Willingness to travel to sites across NSW and work early starts.
- Positive attitude with strong reliability and work ethic.
- Safety-focused mindset and ability to follow direction.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Good mathematical aptitude and literacy skills.
- Experience using hand and power tools is advantageous.
- Availability to work overtime when required.
