Project Manager, AML Compliance (Fixed Term) – Sydney, Australia
The Manager, AML Compliance Project Management will support the Program Director in the development of processes, systems, and strategies related to Western Union Australia’s compliance with local financial crime regulations, Western Union’s global policies and industry best practices.
An opportunity to join Western Union’s Compliance Team on a full-time basis for a 24-month period.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead/coordinate core project activities including gap analysis, solution design, documentation, issue resolution, resource planning, progress tracking, status reporting, implementation, change management, and post implementation review and closure.
Role Requirements:
Excellent communications and presentation skills; ability to create change through influence, foster teamwork and orchestrate teams; demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, ability to earn the trust of leadership, business partners and relevant subject matter experts.
A degree in commerce, business, law, finance, risk, compliance, or equivalent.
Work Shift
Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.
