What your day could look like
As a Clinical Nurse, you'll play a vital role in strengthening mental health outcomes for children, young people and their families in the community. From delivering therapeutic care to guiding care decisions, you'll work within a multidisciplinary team to create meaningful change and improved wellbeing across the region.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
Delivering holistic, recovery-focused care that supports positive outcomes for young people and families
Leading clinical decision-making and coordinating tailored care plans in complex situations
Partnering with families, carers and services to build strong, connected care pathways
Driving quality and safety improvements that enhance service delivery and patient experience
Let's talk about you!
You're a compassionate and capable clinician who brings both confidence and care to your practice. You think critically, act with integrity and dignity, and know how to navigate complexity while supporting others. Whether guiding families through challenging moments or influencing better care outcomes, you take pride in making a genuine difference in people's lives. You're motivated not just by clinical excellence, but by the opportunity to create lasting impact in a regional community.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant professional authority
Strong experience in mental health care, including assessment and case coordination
Ability to work collaboratively, lead clinical decisions and manage risk effectively
Confidence using clinical systems and applying evidence-based practice
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience working in rural or community settings and/or postgraduate or credentialed qualifications in mental health nursing.
Most importantly, you'll be driven to support children and families, contribute to stronger communities, and deliver care that reflects compassion, integrity and courage.
This role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful outcomes while contributing to a service that values connection, innovation and high-quality care.
