The Division of Cancer and Ambulatory Support at Canberra Health Services is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to provide strategic leadership across a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services, including the Central Outpatients Department. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while leading nursing practice standards and contributing to the overall management of clinical, financial and workforce resources.
Working in partnership with the Division’s executive team and across Canberra Health Services, you will provide expert advice and leadership in key areas including nurse education, quality and safety, organisational development and workforce planning. This influential role also contributes to the broader senior nursing and midwifery leadership team, offering a unique opportunity to shape nursing excellence and drive innovation in a complex and rewarding healthcare environment.
