The Role
We are seeking a proactive Customer Service Representative to join Benelec in a permanent full-time capacity. In this pivotal role, you will support our dynamic sales team by managing day-to-day sales operations, delivering customer service, and ensuring the smooth flow of information across departments.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, tech-savvy, and eager to develop a strong understanding of our radio technology and communications products. You will play an important part in maintaining accurate sales data, preparing essential documentation, and contributing to continuous improvements that support the growth of the business. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to work closely with multiple teams across the company in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update sales orders, quotes, and customer data.
- Handle a wide range of customer enquiries.
- Prepare quotes, picking slips, and other sales documents.
- Maintain sales documentation, product information, and website content.
- Monitor customer and product sales performance.
- Assist with budgets, KPIs, and sales reporting.
- Manage returns, credit claims, and repair requests.
- Provide general support to the sales team and assist other departments as needed.
Skills and Experience
- A strong background in technical customer internal sales and support
- A pleasant and professional phone manner
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Good organisational skills with close attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft software e.g. Excel, Word and Outlook
- Fluency and literacy in English
- Good pronunciation
- Good numeracy skills
- Commitment to the job
