Applications are invited for an experienced Technology Teacher for the Senior School, with expertise in Textiles.

This position is a temporary full-time (maternity leave cover) commencing in Term 4 2026. This role has the possibility of becoming permanent due to departmental growth.
Core Requirements:
Applicants for the position of Technology Teacher must demonstrate at a minimum that they:
- are a committed Christian, who is active in the life of a Bible-based Evangelical Church
- support the College’s vision of holistic Christian education
- conduct themselves in a manner in keeping with the College ethos and Code of Conduct at all times, modelling Christian maturity to the College community
- have the ability to teach across Stages 4-6 of the NESA Technology Syllabuses to ensure that the College provides quality education to students
- have exceptional communication and relational teaching skills
- have knowledge of relevant compliance requirements in schools
- holds a valid Working with Children Check in NSW (WWCC)
- are an accredited teacher with at least Conditional Teacher accreditation from NESA
- work effectively and collaboratively in a Faculty team.
- this is a specialist role - the successful candidate must have expertise in the area of Textiles.
- the ability to teach another Technology subject area would be highly desirable.
Core Responsibilities:
The Technology Teacher should:
- provide effective and innovative teaching practices for teaching TAS, reflecting the Christian ethos of the College, ensuring a high standard of outcomes for all students
- manage curriculum requirements for their classes, including programs, registers, assessment, feedback, and reporting
- manage student issues arising from their classes using the College’s positive behaviour framework and implementing relevant College protocols
- implement College protocols and strategies
- provide effective pastoral care to students through leading a regular House Tutor group
- support co-curricular activities of the College.
