The Allergy and Immunology Service is seeking an enthusiastic enrolled nurse with experience in allergy skin testing and food challenges, or a willingness to undertake training to do so, to work in supervised multidisciplinary outpatient and inpatient settings. Experience working with children and families in a medical setting is essential.
What you'll be doing
The enrolled nurse will work under the supervision of the registered nurse and is responsible for delivering allergy diagnostic services -with an emphasis on allergy skin testing and comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families, demonstrating and applying knowledge in all aspects of care including collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide nursing care to allergy patients in the outpatient and inpatient setting; taking appropriate clinical measurements relative to the patient's condition; conducting allergy skin testing, assisting with allergy food challenge clinics, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; maintaining an empathetic approach to families.

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
