About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of construction projects by preparing accurate and compliant drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D and 3D architectural drawings using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit)
- Interpret design concepts and develop detailed plans, elevations, and construction drawings
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure design accuracy
- Update and revise drawings based on feedback and project changes
- Assist in material selection and documentation of specifications
- Ensure drawings comply with Australian building codes and standards
- Support the preparation of documentation for council approvals and construction
Requirements
- Associate degree or Advanced Diploma or Diploma in related field
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems
- Knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and council requirements
- Ability to interpret architectural designs and technical specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
